Wizards District Gaming Trades Demon JT To Pistons GT

Wizards DG land second round pick for Demon JT; Also retain Dayfri and ReeseDaGod

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The NBA 2K League announced today that Wizards District Gaming has traded point guard Demon JT to Pistons GT in exchange for a second round pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft. In addition, the team previously announced it retained Dayfri and ReeseDaGod for season three of the league.

Wizards District Gaming retained Demon JT for a fourth round pick in February’s draft prior to trading him to Pistons GT for a second round pick. That second round selection will join the first overall pick of the draft as well as one selection in each of the second and third rounds to cap Wizards District Gaming’s 2020 roster.

“We’d like to thank Demon JT for his hard work and dedication to growing the game both for Wizards District Gaming and the NBA 2K League the past two seasons,” Andrew McNeill, Director of Esports at Monumental Sports & Entertainment, said. “We wish him nothing but the best in Detroit.”

ReeseDaGod – a shooting guard from Chicago – has spent both seasons in Washington, D.C., averaging 14.3 points per game while shooting 58 percent from the field and 47.7 percent from beyond the arc. After playing his first season in Dallas in 2018, Dayfri was traded to Wizards District Gaming for the 2019 campaign. The power forward from Palmer, Texas has averaged 17 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game during his career.
