WIZARDS DISTRICT GAMING ACQUIRES DAYFRI VIA TRADE FROM MAVS GAMING

Dayfri averaged 19.1 points, seven rebounds per game last season

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Wizards District Gaming has acquired power forward Dayfri (Ryan Conger) from Mavs Gaming for its 2019 first-round draft pick (14th overall pick), the team announced today.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Dayfri to Wizards D.G.,” Grant Paranjape, Director of Esports Business and Team Operations at Monumental Sports & Entertainment, said. “Dayfri is an incredibly versatile player who stood out to us through both his play on the court, as well as his character off the court. By combining his talents with our retained duo of Boo and Demon JT, we are confident we have crafted a strong core of players that are capable of competing each and every week this upcoming season.”

Dayfri, who was the 34th overall pick in the 2018 NBA 2K League Draft, averaged 19.1 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game for Mavs Gaming. A native of Palmer, Texas, Dayfri was one of two players retained by Mavs Gaming for the upcoming season.

“I want to thank the Mavs Gaming organization for everything during the inaugural season of the league,” Conger said. “I am thrilled for this opportunity to join Wizards District Gaming and compete with a great group of guys.  I can’t wait to get to work on the 2019 season.”

Wizards DG finished the 2018 campaign with an 8-6 record and punched its ticket to the playoffs in the inaugural NBA 2K League season.
