October 26, 2021
Wizards District Gaming point guard JBM announced his retirement from the NBA 2K League on Monday. The #1 overall pick in the NBA 2K League Draft entering Season 3, JBM led Wizards District Gaming to back-to-back NBA 2K League Championships in his two seasons in the league and was named Finals MVP in 2021.
JBM was named a starter on the Eastern Conference roster in the inaugural NBA 2K League All-Star Game in Season 4 and was named to the All-NBA 2K League Second Team and the NBA 2K League’s All-Defensive Team. JBM is the only #1 overall draft pick in NBA 2K League history to win a championship.
