Dayfri named NBA 2K League Player of the Week for Week 5

Wizards District Gaming center Dayfri was named the NBA 2K League Player of the Week for Week 5 of the regular season on Tuesday. Dayfri averaged 17 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in a pair of wins over Grizz Gaming in Week 5.
His presence on the other end also anchored a WDG defense that held the high-scoring Grizz Gaming offense to an average of 58 points per game in the series.
The sweep of Grizz Gaming gave WDG the best record in the NBA 2K League and moved them into first place in the Eastern Conference standings. WDG has won seven games in a row and look to continue their winning streak on July 8 against Pistons GT.
